Surah 111 - The Palm Fiber (Al-Masad)
تَبَّتْ يَدَآ أَبِى لَهَبٍۢ وَتَبَّ
May the hands of Abu Lahab perish، and he himself perish
— Transliteration
مَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُ مَالُهُۥ وَمَا كَسَبَ
Neither his wealth nor worldly gains will benefit him
— Transliteration
سَيَصْلَىٰ نَارًۭا ذَاتَ لَهَبٍۢ
He will burn in a flaming Fire،
— Transliteration
وَٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ حَمَّالَةَ ٱلْحَطَبِ
and so will his wife، the carrier of thorny kindling،
— Transliteration
فِى جِيدِهَا حَبْلٌۭ مِّن مَّسَدٍۭ
around her neck will be a rope of palm-fibre
