Surah 99 - The Earthquake (Az-Zalzalah)

1

إِذَا زُلْزِلَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ زِلْزَالَهَا

When the earth is shaken in its ultimate quaking،

— Transliteration

2

وَأَخْرَجَتِ ٱلْأَرْضُ أَثْقَالَهَا

and when the earth throws out all its contents،

— Transliteration

3

وَقَالَ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا لَهَا

and humanity cries، "What is wrong with it?"

— Transliteration

4

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ تُحَدِّثُ أَخْبَارَهَا

on that Day the earth will recount everything،

— Transliteration

5

بِأَنَّ رَبَّكَ أَوْحَىٰ لَهَا

having been inspired by your Lord to do so

— Transliteration

6

يَوْمَئِذٍۢ يَصْدُرُ ٱلنَّاسُ أَشْتَاتًۭا لِّيُرَوْا۟ أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ

On that Day people will proceed in separate groups to be shown the consequences of their deeds

— Transliteration

7

فَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍ خَيْرًۭا يَرَهُۥ

So whoever does an atom\'s weight of good will see it

— Transliteration

8

وَمَن يَعْمَلْ مِثْقَالَ ذَرَّةٍۢ شَرًّۭا يَرَهُۥ

And whoever does an atom\'s weight of evil will see it

— Transliteration
