Surah 100 - The Courser (Al-'Adiyat)

1

وَٱلْعَٰدِيَٰتِ ضَبْحًۭا

\' By the galloping، panting horses،

— Transliteration

2

فَٱلْمُورِيَٰتِ قَدْحًۭا

striking sparks of fire with their hoofs،

— Transliteration

3

فَٱلْمُغِيرَٰتِ صُبْحًۭا

launching raids at dawn،

— Transliteration

4

فَأَثَرْنَ بِهِۦ نَقْعًۭا

stirring up clouds of dust،

— Transliteration

5

فَوَسَطْنَ بِهِۦ جَمْعًا

and penetrating into the heart of enemy lines

— Transliteration

6

إِنَّ ٱلْإِنسَٰنَ لِرَبِّهِۦ لَكَنُودٌۭ

Surely humankind is ungrateful to their Lord

— Transliteration

7

وَإِنَّهُۥ عَلَىٰ ذَٰلِكَ لَشَهِيدٌۭ

and they certainly attest to this

— Transliteration

8

وَإِنَّهُۥ لِحُبِّ ٱلْخَيْرِ لَشَدِيدٌ

and they are truly extreme in their love of worldly gains

— Transliteration

9

۞ أَفَلَا يَعْلَمُ إِذَا بُعْثِرَ مَا فِى ٱلْقُبُورِ

Do they not know that when the contents of the graves will be spilled out،

— Transliteration

10

وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِى ٱلصُّدُورِ

and the secrets of the hearts will be laid bare

— Transliteration

11

إِنَّ رَبَّهُم بِهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لَّخَبِيرٌۢ

surely their Lord is All-Aware of them on that Day

— Transliteration
