Surah 38 - The Letter "Saad" (Sad)

1
صٓ ۚ وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ ذِى ٱلذِّكْرِ
sãd By the Quran، full of reminders
— Transliteration
2
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى عِزَّةٍۢ وَشِقَاقٍۢ
This is the truth، yet the disbelievers are entrenched in arrogance and opposition
— Transliteration
3
كَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن قَرْنٍۢ فَنَادَوا۟ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٍۢ
Imagine how many peoples We destroyed before them، and they cried out when it was too late to escape
— Transliteration
4
وَعَجِبُوٓا۟ أَن جَآءَهُم مُّنذِرٌۭ مِّنْهُمْ ۖ وَقَالَ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ هَٰذَا سَٰحِرٌۭ كَذَّابٌ
Now، the pagans are astonished that a warner has come to them from among themselves And the disbelievers say، "This is a magician، a total liar
— Transliteration
5
أَجَعَلَ ٱلْءَالِهَةَ إِلَٰهًۭا وَٰحِدًا ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌ عُجَابٌۭ
Has he reduced all the gods to One God? Indeed، this is something totally astonishing"
— Transliteration
6
وَٱنطَلَقَ ٱلْمَلَأُ مِنْهُمْ أَنِ ٱمْشُوا۟ وَٱصْبِرُوا۟ عَلَىٰٓ ءَالِهَتِكُمْ ۖ إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَشَىْءٌۭ يُرَادُ
The chiefs among them went forth saying، "Carry on، and stand firm in devotion to your gods Certainly this is just a scheme for power
— Transliteration
7
مَا سَمِعْنَا بِهَٰذَا فِى ٱلْمِلَّةِ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ إِنْ هَٰذَآ إِلَّا ٱخْتِلَٰقٌ
We have never heard of this in the previous faith This is nothing but a fabrication
— Transliteration
8
أَءُنزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ٱلذِّكْرُ مِنۢ بَيْنِنَا ۚ بَلْ هُمْ فِى شَكٍّۢ مِّن ذِكْرِى ۖ بَل لَّمَّا يَذُوقُوا۟ عَذَابِ
Has the Reminder been revealed only to him out of all of us?" In fact، they are only in doubt of My revealed Reminder In fact، they do so because they have not yet tasted My punishment
— Transliteration
9
أَمْ عِندَهُمْ خَزَآئِنُ رَحْمَةِ رَبِّكَ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْوَهَّابِ
Or is it because they possess the treasuries of the mercy of your Lordthe Almighty، the Giver of all bounties
— Transliteration
10
أَمْ لَهُم مُّلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ۖ فَلْيَرْتَقُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَسْبَٰبِ
Or is it because the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in between belongs to them? Let them then climb their way to heaven، if their claim is true
— Transliteration
11
جُندٌۭ مَّا هُنَالِكَ مَهْزُومٌۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَحْزَابِ
This is just another enemy force bound for defeat out there
— Transliteration
12
كَذَّبَتْ قَبْلَهُمْ قَوْمُ نُوحٍۢ وَعَادٌۭ وَفِرْعَوْنُ ذُو ٱلْأَوْتَادِ
Before them، the people of Noah denied the truth، as did \'ad، Pharaoh of the mighty structures،
— Transliteration
13
وَثَمُودُ وَقَوْمُ لُوطٍۢ وَأَصْحَٰبُ لْـَٔيْكَةِ ۚ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ ٱلْأَحْزَابُ
Thamûd، the people of Lot، and the residents of the Forest These were all enemy forces
— Transliteration
14
إِن كُلٌّ إِلَّا كَذَّبَ ٱلرُّسُلَ فَحَقَّ عِقَابِ
Each rejected their messenger، so My punishment was justified
— Transliteration
15
وَمَا يَنظُرُ هَٰٓؤُلَآءِ إِلَّا صَيْحَةًۭ وَٰحِدَةًۭ مَّا لَهَا مِن فَوَاقٍۢ
These pagans are awaiting nothing but a single Blast that cannot be stopped
— Transliteration
16
وَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا عَجِّل لَّنَا قِطَّنَا قَبْلَ يَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ
They say mockingly، "Our Lord Hasten for us our share of the punishment before the Day of Reckoning"
— Transliteration
17
ٱصْبِرْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَقُولُونَ وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَا دَاوُۥدَ ذَا ٱلْأَيْدِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
Be patient O Prophet with what they say And remember Our servant، David، the man of strength Indeed، he constantly turned to Allah
— Transliteration
18
إِنَّا سَخَّرْنَا ٱلْجِبَالَ مَعَهُۥ يُسَبِّحْنَ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ وَٱلْإِشْرَاقِ
We truly subjected the mountains to hymn Our praises along with him in the evening and after sunrise
— Transliteration
19
وَٱلطَّيْرَ مَحْشُورَةًۭ ۖ كُلٌّۭ لَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ
And We subjected the birds، flocking together All turned to him echoing his hymns
— Transliteration
20
وَشَدَدْنَا مُلْكَهُۥ وَءَاتَيْنَٰهُ ٱلْحِكْمَةَ وَفَصْلَ ٱلْخِطَابِ
We strengthened his kingship، and gave him wisdom and sound judgment
— Transliteration
21
۞ وَهَلْ أَتَىٰكَ نَبَؤُا۟ ٱلْخَصْمِ إِذْ تَسَوَّرُوا۟ ٱلْمِحْرَابَ
Has the story of the two plaintiffs، who scaled the wall of David\'s sanctuary، reached you O Prophet?
— Transliteration
22
إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَىٰ دَاوُۥدَ فَفَزِعَ مِنْهُمْ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ خَصْمَانِ بَغَىٰ بَعْضُنَا عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍۢ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَنَا بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تُشْطِطْ وَٱهْدِنَآ إِلَىٰ سَوَآءِ ٱلصِّرَٰطِ
When they came into David\'s presence، he was startled by them They said، "Have no fear We are merely two in a dispute: one of us has wronged the other So judge between us with truthdo not go beyond itand guide us to the right way
— Transliteration
23
إِنَّ هَٰذَآ أَخِى لَهُۥ تِسْعٌۭ وَتِسْعُونَ نَعْجَةًۭ وَلِىَ نَعْجَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ فَقَالَ أَكْفِلْنِيهَا وَعَزَّنِى فِى ٱلْخِطَابِ
This is my brother He has ninety-nine sheep while I have only one Still he asked me to give it up to him، overwhelming me with his argument"
— Transliteration
24
قَالَ لَقَدْ ظَلَمَكَ بِسُؤَالِ نَعْجَتِكَ إِلَىٰ نِعَاجِهِۦ ۖ وَإِنَّ كَثِيرًۭا مِّنَ ٱلْخُلَطَآءِ لَيَبْغِى بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَىٰ بَعْضٍ إِلَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ وَقَلِيلٌۭ مَّا هُمْ ۗ وَظَنَّ دَاوُۥدُ أَنَّمَا فَتَنَّٰهُ فَٱسْتَغْفَرَ رَبَّهُۥ وَخَرَّ رَاكِعًۭا وَأَنَابَ ۩
David eventually ruled، "He has definitely wronged you in demanding to add your sheep to his And certainly many partners wrong each other، except those who believe and do goodbut how few are they" Then David realized that We had tested him so he asked for his Lord\'s forgiveness، fell down in prostration، and turned to Him in repentance
— Transliteration
25
فَغَفَرْنَا لَهُۥ ذَٰلِكَ ۖ وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ
So We forgave that for him And he will indeed have a status of closeness to Us and an honourable destination
— Transliteration
26
يَٰدَاوُۥدُ إِنَّا جَعَلْنَٰكَ خَلِيفَةًۭ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَٱحْكُم بَيْنَ ٱلنَّاسِ بِٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا تَتَّبِعِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ فَيُضِلَّكَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَضِلُّونَ عَن سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌۭ شَدِيدٌۢ بِمَا نَسُوا۟ يَوْمَ ٱلْحِسَابِ
We instructed him: "O David We have surely made you an authority in the land، so judge between people with truth And do not follow your desires or they will lead you astray from Allah\'s Way Surely those who go astray from Allah\'s Way will suffer a severe punishment for neglecting the Day of Reckoning"
— Transliteration
27
وَمَا خَلَقْنَا ٱلسَّمَآءَ وَٱلْأَرْضَ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا بَٰطِلًۭا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ظَنُّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ ۚ فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِنَ ٱلنَّارِ
We have not created the heavens and earth and everything in between without purposeas the disbelievers think So woe to the disbelievers because of the Fire
— Transliteration
28
أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ كَٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ أَمْ نَجْعَلُ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ كَٱلْفُجَّارِ
Or should We treat those who believe and do good like those who make mischief throughout the land? Or should We treat the righteous like the wicked?
— Transliteration
29
كِتَٰبٌ أَنزَلْنَٰهُ إِلَيْكَ مُبَٰرَكٌۭ لِّيَدَّبَّرُوٓا۟ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ وَلِيَتَذَكَّرَ أُو۟لُوا۟ ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
This is a blessed Book which We have revealed to you O Prophet so that they may contemplate its verses، and people of reason may be mindful
— Transliteration
30
وَوَهَبْنَا لِدَاوُۥدَ سُلَيْمَٰنَ ۚ نِعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌ
And We blessed David with Solomonwhat an excellent servant he was Indeed، he constantly turned to Allah
— Transliteration
31
إِذْ عُرِضَ عَلَيْهِ بِٱلْعَشِىِّ ٱلصَّٰفِنَٰتُ ٱلْجِيَادُ
Remember when the well-trained، swift horses were paraded before him in the evening
— Transliteration
32
فَقَالَ إِنِّىٓ أَحْبَبْتُ حُبَّ ٱلْخَيْرِ عَن ذِكْرِ رَبِّى حَتَّىٰ تَوَارَتْ بِٱلْحِجَابِ
He then proclaimed، "I am truly in love with these fine things out of remembrance for Allah،" until they went out of sight
— Transliteration
33
رُدُّوهَا عَلَىَّ ۖ فَطَفِقَ مَسْحًۢا بِٱلسُّوقِ وَٱلْأَعْنَاقِ
He ordered، "Bring them back to me" Then he began to rub down their legs and necks
— Transliteration
34
وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا سُلَيْمَٰنَ وَأَلْقَيْنَا عَلَىٰ كُرْسِيِّهِۦ جَسَدًۭا ثُمَّ أَنَابَ
And indeed، We tested Solomon، placing a deformed body on his throne، then he turned to Allah in repentance
— Transliteration
35
قَالَ رَبِّ ٱغْفِرْ لِى وَهَبْ لِى مُلْكًۭا لَّا يَنۢبَغِى لِأَحَدٍۢ مِّنۢ بَعْدِىٓ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلْوَهَّابُ
He prayed، "My Lord Forgive me، and grant me an authority that will never be matched by anyone after me You are indeed the Giver of all bounties"
— Transliteration
36
فَسَخَّرْنَا لَهُ ٱلرِّيحَ تَجْرِى بِأَمْرِهِۦ رُخَآءً حَيْثُ أَصَابَ
So We subjected to him the wind، blowing gently at his command to wherever he pleased
— Transliteration
37
وَٱلشَّيَٰطِينَ كُلَّ بَنَّآءٍۢ وَغَوَّاصٍۢ
And We subjected to him every builder and diver of the jinn،
— Transliteration
38
وَءَاخَرِينَ مُقَرَّنِينَ فِى ٱلْأَصْفَادِ
and others bound together in chains
— Transliteration
39
هَٰذَا عَطَآؤُنَا فَٱمْنُنْ أَوْ أَمْسِكْ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍۢ
Allah said، "This is Our gift، so give or withhold as you wish، never to be called to account"
— Transliteration
40
وَإِنَّ لَهُۥ عِندَنَا لَزُلْفَىٰ وَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ
And he will indeed have a status of closeness to Us and an honourable destination
— Transliteration
41
وَٱذْكُرْ عَبْدَنَآ أَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُۥٓ أَنِّى مَسَّنِىَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنُ بِنُصْبٍۢ وَعَذَابٍ
And remember Our servant Job، when he cried out to his Lord، "Satan has afflicted me with distress and suffering"
— Transliteration
42
ٱرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ ۖ هَٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌۢ بَارِدٌۭ وَشَرَابٌۭ
We responded، "Stomp your foot: now here is a cool and refreshing spring for washing and drinking"
— Transliteration
43
وَوَهَبْنَا لَهُۥٓ أَهْلَهُۥ وَمِثْلَهُم مَّعَهُمْ رَحْمَةًۭ مِّنَّا وَذِكْرَىٰ لِأُو۟لِى ٱلْأَلْبَٰبِ
And We gave him back his family، twice as many، as a mercy from Us and a lesson for people of reason
— Transliteration
44
وَخُذْ بِيَدِكَ ضِغْثًۭا فَٱضْرِب بِّهِۦ وَلَا تَحْنَثْ ۗ إِنَّا وَجَدْنَٰهُ صَابِرًۭا ۚ نِّعْمَ ٱلْعَبْدُ ۖ إِنَّهُۥٓ أَوَّابٌۭ
And We said to him، "Take in your hand a bundle of grass، and strike your wife with it، and do not break your oath" We truly found him patient What an excellent servant he was Indeed، he constantly turned to Allah
— Transliteration
45
وَٱذْكُرْ عِبَٰدَنَآ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ وَإِسْحَٰقَ وَيَعْقُوبَ أُو۟لِى ٱلْأَيْدِى وَٱلْأَبْصَٰرِ
And remember Our servants: Abraham، Isaac، and Jacobthe men of strength and insight
— Transliteration
46
إِنَّآ أَخْلَصْنَٰهُم بِخَالِصَةٍۢ ذِكْرَى ٱلدَّارِ
We truly chose them for the honour of proclaiming the Hereafter
— Transliteration
47
وَإِنَّهُمْ عِندَنَا لَمِنَ ٱلْمُصْطَفَيْنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ
And in Our sight they are truly among the chosen and the finest
— Transliteration
48
وَٱذْكُرْ إِسْمَٰعِيلَ وَٱلْيَسَعَ وَذَا ٱلْكِفْلِ ۖ وَكُلٌّۭ مِّنَ ٱلْأَخْيَارِ
Also remember Ishmael، Elisha، and Ⱬul-Kifl All are among the best
— Transliteration
49
هَٰذَا ذِكْرٌۭ ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلْمُتَّقِينَ لَحُسْنَ مَـَٔابٍۢ
This is all a reminder And the righteous will certainly have an honourable destination:
— Transliteration
50
جَنَّٰتِ عَدْنٍۢ مُّفَتَّحَةًۭ لَّهُمُ ٱلْأَبْوَٰبُ
the Gardens of Eternity، whose gates will be open for them
— Transliteration
51
مُتَّكِـِٔينَ فِيهَا يَدْعُونَ فِيهَا بِفَٰكِهَةٍۢ كَثِيرَةٍۢ وَشَرَابٍۢ
There they will recline، calling for abundant fruit and drink
— Transliteration
52
۞ وَعِندَهُمْ قَٰصِرَٰتُ ٱلطَّرْفِ أَتْرَابٌ
And with them will be maidens of modest gaze and equal age
— Transliteration
53
هَٰذَا مَا تُوعَدُونَ لِيَوْمِ ٱلْحِسَابِ
This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning
— Transliteration
54
إِنَّ هَٰذَا لَرِزْقُنَا مَا لَهُۥ مِن نَّفَادٍ
This is indeed Our provision that will never end
— Transliteration
55
هَٰذَا ۚ وَإِنَّ لِلطَّٰغِينَ لَشَرَّ مَـَٔابٍۢ
That is that And the transgressors will certainly have the worst destination:
— Transliteration
56
جَهَنَّمَ يَصْلَوْنَهَا فَبِئْسَ ٱلْمِهَادُ
Hell، where they will burn What an evil place to rest
— Transliteration
57
هَٰذَا فَلْيَذُوقُوهُ حَمِيمٌۭ وَغَسَّاقٌۭ
Let them then taste this: boiling water and oozing pus،
— Transliteration
58
وَءَاخَرُ مِن شَكْلِهِۦٓ أَزْوَٰجٌ
and other torments of the same sort
— Transliteration
59
هَٰذَا فَوْجٌۭ مُّقْتَحِمٌۭ مَّعَكُمْ ۖ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِهِمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ صَالُوا۟ ٱلنَّارِ
The misleaders will say to one another، "Here is a crowd of followers being thrown in with us They are not welcome، for they too will burn in the Fire"
— Transliteration
60
قَالُوا۟ بَلْ أَنتُمْ لَا مَرْحَبًۢا بِكُمْ ۖ أَنتُمْ قَدَّمْتُمُوهُ لَنَا ۖ فَبِئْسَ ٱلْقَرَارُ
The followers will respond، "No You are not welcome You brought this upon us What an evil place for settlement"
— Transliteration
61
قَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَا مَن قَدَّمَ لَنَا هَٰذَا فَزِدْهُ عَذَابًۭا ضِعْفًۭا فِى ٱلنَّارِ
Adding، "Our Lord Whoever brought this upon us، double their punishment in the Fire"
— Transliteration
62
وَقَالُوا۟ مَا لَنَا لَا نَرَىٰ رِجَالًۭا كُنَّا نَعُدُّهُم مِّنَ ٱلْأَشْرَارِ
The tyrants will ask one another، "But why do we not see those we considered to be lowly?
— Transliteration
63
أَتَّخَذْنَٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَٰرُ
Were we wrong in mocking them in the world? Or do our eyes just fail to see them in the Fire?"
— Transliteration
64
إِنَّ ذَٰلِكَ لَحَقٌّۭ تَخَاصُمُ أَهْلِ ٱلنَّارِ
This dispute between the residents of the Fire will certainly come to pass
— Transliteration
65
قُلْ إِنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ مُنذِرٌۭ ۖ وَمَا مِنْ إِلَٰهٍ إِلَّا ٱللَّهُ ٱلْوَٰحِدُ ٱلْقَهَّارُ
Say، O Prophet، "I am only a warner And there is no god worthy of worship except Allahthe One، the Supreme
— Transliteration
66
رَبُّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَمَا بَيْنَهُمَا ٱلْعَزِيزُ ٱلْغَفَّٰرُ
He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and everything in betweenthe Almighty، Most Forgiving"
— Transliteration
67
قُلْ هُوَ نَبَؤٌا۟ عَظِيمٌ
Say، "This Quran is momentous news،
— Transliteration
68
أَنتُمْ عَنْهُ مُعْرِضُونَ
from which you pagans are turning away"
— Transliteration
69
مَا كَانَ لِىَ مِنْ عِلْمٍۭ بِٱلْمَلَإِ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰٓ إِذْ يَخْتَصِمُونَ
And say، "I had no knowledge of the highest assembly in heaven when they differed concerning Adam
— Transliteration
70
إِن يُوحَىٰٓ إِلَىَّ إِلَّآ أَنَّمَآ أَنَا۠ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌ
What is revealed to me is that I am only sent with a clear warning"
— Transliteration
71
إِذْ قَالَ رَبُّكَ لِلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ إِنِّى خَٰلِقٌۢ بَشَرًۭا مِّن طِينٍۢ
Remember، O Prophet when your Lord said to the angels، "I am going to create a human being from clay
— Transliteration
72
فَإِذَا سَوَّيْتُهُۥ وَنَفَخْتُ فِيهِ مِن رُّوحِى فَقَعُوا۟ لَهُۥ سَٰجِدِينَ
So when I have fashioned him and had a spirit of My Own creation breathed into him، fall down in prostration to him"
— Transliteration
73
فَسَجَدَ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ كُلُّهُمْ أَجْمَعُونَ
So the angels prostrated all together
— Transliteration
74
إِلَّآ إِبْلِيسَ ٱسْتَكْبَرَ وَكَانَ مِنَ ٱلْكَٰفِرِينَ
but not Iblis، becoming unfaithful
— Transliteration
75
قَالَ يَٰٓإِبْلِيسُ مَا مَنَعَكَ أَن تَسْجُدَ لِمَا خَلَقْتُ بِيَدَىَّ ۖ أَسْتَكْبَرْتَ أَمْ كُنتَ مِنَ ٱلْعَالِينَ
Allah asked، "O Iblis What prevented you from prostrating to what I created with My Own Hands? Did you just become proud? Or have you always been arrogant?"
— Transliteration
76
قَالَ أَنَا۠ خَيْرٌۭ مِّنْهُ ۖ خَلَقْتَنِى مِن نَّارٍۢ وَخَلَقْتَهُۥ مِن طِينٍۢ
He replied، "I am better than he is: You created me from fire and him from clay"
— Transliteration
77
قَالَ فَٱخْرُجْ مِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ رَجِيمٌۭ
Allah commanded، "Then get out of Paradise، for you are truly cursed
— Transliteration
78
وَإِنَّ عَلَيْكَ لَعْنَتِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلدِّينِ
And surely upon you is My condemnation until the Day of Judgment"
— Transliteration
79
قَالَ رَبِّ فَأَنظِرْنِىٓ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ
Satan appealed، "My Lord Then delay my end until the Day of their resurrection"
— Transliteration
80
قَالَ فَإِنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْمُنظَرِينَ
Allah said، "You will be delayed
— Transliteration
81
إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْوَقْتِ ٱلْمَعْلُومِ
until the appointed Day"
— Transliteration
82
قَالَ فَبِعِزَّتِكَ لَأُغْوِيَنَّهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Satan said، "By Your Glory I will certainly mislead them all،
— Transliteration
83
إِلَّا عِبَادَكَ مِنْهُمُ ٱلْمُخْلَصِينَ
except Your chosen servants among them"
— Transliteration
84
قَالَ فَٱلْحَقُّ وَٱلْحَقَّ أَقُولُ
Allah concluded، "The truth isand I only say the truth:
— Transliteration
85
لَأَمْلَأَنَّ جَهَنَّمَ مِنكَ وَمِمَّن تَبِعَكَ مِنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
I will surely fill up Hell with you and whoever follows you from among them، all together"
— Transliteration
86
قُلْ مَآ أَسْـَٔلُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ مِنْ أَجْرٍۢ وَمَآ أَنَا۠ مِنَ ٱلْمُتَكَلِّفِينَ
Say، O Prophet، "I do not ask you for any reward for this Quran، nor do I pretend to be someone I am not
— Transliteration
87
إِنْ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكْرٌۭ لِّلْعَٰلَمِينَ
It is only a reminder to the whole world
— Transliteration
88
وَلَتَعْلَمُنَّ نَبَأَهُۥ بَعْدَ حِينٍۭ
And you will certainly know its truth before long"
— Transliteration
