Surah 93 - The Morning Hours (Ad-Duhaa)
وَٱلضُّحَىٰ
By the morning sunlight،
— Transliteration
وَٱلَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَىٰ
and the night when it falls still
— Transliteration
مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَىٰ
Your Lord O Prophet has not abandoned you، nor has He become hateful of you
— Transliteration
وَلَلْءَاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌۭ لَّكَ مِنَ ٱلْأُولَىٰ
And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one
— Transliteration
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ
And surely your Lord will give so much to you that you will be pleased
— Transliteration
أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيمًۭا فَـَٔاوَىٰ
Did He not find you as an orphan then sheltered you?
— Transliteration
وَوَجَدَكَ ضَآلًّۭا فَهَدَىٰ
Did He not find you unguided then guided you?
— Transliteration
وَوَجَدَكَ عَآئِلًۭا فَأَغْنَىٰ
And did He not find you needy then satisfied your needs?
— Transliteration
فَأَمَّا ٱلْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ
So do not oppress the orphan،
— Transliteration
وَأَمَّا ٱلسَّآئِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ
nor repulse the beggar
— Transliteration
وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ
And proclaim the blessings of your Lord
— Transliteration
